IGS Investor Meet and Startup Show
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS) is organising the fourth edition of India Gaming Show (IGS) 2023 from 16-18 February 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India. IGS 2023 is supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. This event is held concurrently with the Silver Jubilee Edition of CII’s Flagship Show - IETF 2023 - 25th International Engineering & Technology Fair.
CII and IDGS has been constantly working on the Gaming and AVGC sector in India, by collaborating with global technology leaders, young entrepreneurs, start-ups, game developers & publishers, researchers, industry experts, investors, innovators, academicians, and stakeholders from Government and industry with an aim to put India into the global map of key digital gaming nations in the world.
IGS 2023 exhibition will feature showcase of technological breakthroughs, latest games by indie developers, animation, gamification of product and services, eSport, AR, VR, gaming zones, start-ups, skill & skill Development, Digital India, Make in India, etc., along with consumer section, cosplay and stage events, under one roof, making it the complete event, for the Gaming sector in India. IGS 2023 will provide a platform for all stakeholder to connect and network for future businesses in this fast-growing sector in India.
Keeping in view the largest young consumer base that India has today, with a potential to make India the number one Gaming Destination, IGS 2023 is organising an “Investor meet and Start up Show down” aimed at creating a roadmap for India to be the world market leader, in this sector.
To participate in this event, we are looking at organizations who may have created and developed games, services, products (hardware or software), around the gaming ecosystem that is designed for the Indian and/or Global market.
The purpose of this track/show down is to give an opportunity to emerging startups in the gaming ecosystem, to meet and share their ideas with investors, with a view towards a potential investment. To participate please read the details carefully and fill up the form
Goal
The goal of this show down is to showcase ideas around creating and developing games, services, ancillary products, hardware or software that are designed specifically by Indian companies for Indian and global market. The services or products should be related to the gaming ecosystem.
Criteria
Anything that is designed / created / developed by an Indian company /individual to be consumed or used by Indian and/or the world in the gaming ecosystem. The company should be Indian i.e. should have been incorporated in India, and engaged in providing products and/or services related to the gaming ecosystem, in India or globally
The shortlisted companies will be selected by a group of Jury members. The winners will have the opportunity to meet representatives from global gaming companies, and investor; with a chance to present their games, services, products (hardware or software) at the India Gaming Show 2023.
- Game / Product / Service - should be created / developed in India / by Indian and Global company / individual
- The company/proprietorship should be incorporated in India only
- This Contest will be held during IGS 2023 – between 16 to 18 February, 2023
- Venue – IGS Hall, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi
- Duration of Presentation - 15 mins slot will be given for each presentation. Audio Visual support will be provided for the presentation/demos
- Results - will be declared on 18Th February 2023
- The results in this case imply the following
- Of the companies which showcase their products and services to potential investors, a select few would be announced, which will have the opportunity to hold further discussions with investors on potential funding.
- The selected companies would have access to these investors for further discussions
- Please note any eventual investment would be dependent upon due diligence by investors and valuation discussions
- IGS and CII do not guarantee that a shortlist will lead to an eventual investment
- Contestant Company / Individual to be present at IGS from 16-18th Feb 2023
- Once confirmed and paid, no refund will be made for cancellation/no-show from the contest
- Day and Slot will be shared with you after shortlisting Process
- By filling the Entry Form, the Contestant (Company/Individual) agree to abide by the rules and guidelines of this contest under IGS 2023
